What is a 5-Day Club?
5-Day Club is an exciting, fun-filled 1-2 hours gathering held in homes, backyards, and parks. It is a free Club, open to all boys and girls between the ages of five and twelve, regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend the club with their children. The teachers, or missionaries, are Christian teenagers and college-age students that have received specialized training from CEF. Children will hear Bible lessons, learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, sing songs, play games and learn life-changing Scripture memory. Children are taught Biblical principles, moral values, character qualities, and respect for authority.
5-Day Clubs are sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), an international, Bible-centered organization. CEF currently ministers in over 150 countries, teaching biblical principles to more than three million children each year. Host families are those families who are concerned about the spiritual welfare of the children in their neighborhood and are willing to open their home or backyard to host a 5-Day Club.
We hosted two 5-Day Clubs. The first, at our house in Londonderry, July 20-24, where 15 neighborhood children and friends were in attendence.

The second, at Sheriden-Emmit Park in Manchester, August 3-7, where 70 inner-city children attended, and two made claims for salvation! Praise God! The Club held in the park was THE LARGEST CLUB IN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE! Praise God! Each day the children were given snacks and beverages, and heard the Gospel mesasge. Through prayer and donations, we were able to hand out backpacks to each child on the last day of the Club, filled with school supplies, a children's Bible, and a Bible for the parent/guardian. This was the first time a 5-Day Club was hosted in a public park. We plan on hosting this Club at the same park, during the first week of August every summer!
